Breeding Females

VA Jayla:

Jayla is now retired from motherhood and enjoying her best life on the farm in Morton. The new owners of our farm did not have a dog and they absolutely loved Jayla so it has been the perfect fit. Jayla gets to be the “queen’ of the Morton farm, explores the property with Doug, and continues to guard the apple orchard and garden against the roaming deer.

VA Cappa Cheeno

Cheeno is a beautiful phantom sable standard poodle that weighs about 65 pounds. She is playful, very athletic, and loves people. Born January 2019, she is CKC and AKC registered. She had her OFA hips/elbows done at 13 months of age and her results showed good hip joint conformation and negative elbow dysplasia. Her OFA cardiac showed no evidence of congenital cardiac disease. By parentage, she is DNA clear of genetic conditions because both her parents Rollo and Siggi have been DNA tested clear of poodle genetic conditions.

Cheeno had her first litter in 2020 and they were all beautiful tricolor with half the puppies being tri color sable. (please check our puppy photos) The feedback we are getting from families that adopted these puppies is that they LOVE them! They tell us they are playful, sweet-natured, happy to go for walks or snuggle on the couch.

VA Valbella

Valbella, known as “Bella” by our youngest grandchildren, is a beautiful phantom standard poodle. Bella is our youngest female and still full of puppy fun and affection. Born December 2019, she is our smallest and most athletic female and weighs about 55 pounds. She loves to play with the other dogs and explore everything around her. She was born black with brown phantom markings but after a few months, some of the brown on her face and feet started to fade to a tan/grey. We believe she has a gene that will fade some of her puppies to a beautiful silver color. She has the genetics to have tri-color puppies. She is CKC registered and had OFA testing done at 15 months. Bella has good hip and joint confirmation and is negative for elbow dysplasia. She is DNA clear of poodle genetic conditions through parentage. Bella had her first litter in the summer of 2021 and they were beautiful tri-color Bernese marked and phantom marked. She was a very attentive mom and did a great job of caring for them. The feedback we are getting from her puppies ( they are just 3 months old now ) is that they are settling in well with their new families and that the families are loving them!. We look forward to getting and sharing further puppy updates and photos from the families that have one of Bella’s babies.
